CLEO – Climate change and Environmental Objectives

The research programme will provide scientifically robust knowledge as a basis for evaluation of consequences of climate change on the Swedish Environmental Quality Objectives.

The programme also addresses the question of synergies and conflicts between measures to limit emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants.

Funded by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the programme will run during 2010–2014, with a progress review in 2012.

The Environmental Quality Objectives concerned are Reduced Climate Impact, Clean Air, Natural Acidification Only, A Non-Toxic Environment, and Zero Eutrophication.
