Air & ClimateThe Swedish EPA invited leading experts and researchers, senior administrators and negotiators, international organisations and industry to an international workshop in Gothenburg, Sweden, on October 19–21 2009. The purpose was to discuss air-pollution policies and establish how far they are capable of contributing to a rapid impact on climate change. The aim was to provide input into international policy processes with respect to both air pollution and climate change. 210 delegates was participating, divided into 8 working groups.

The conference was being held under the auspices of the Swedish EU Presidency.
